Short bio

1987 May: Is born in Bacau - Romania and lives there until the age of nineteen.
1990 - 1997: His parents discover his talent of drawing at the age of three and up to the age of ten he wins lots of contests, including 1st prize at the international drawing competition in Japan.
2002 September: Following his childhood dream, gets admitted to the class of architecture at "George Apostu" Highschool of Art in Bacau.
2005 October: For almost one year, starts tutoring lessons for architecture drawing at arh. Alexandru Bercan in Bucharest.
2006 Summer: Finishes Highschool and is admited at the Faculty of architecture "G.M. Cantacuzino" from Iasi (8th on list) and UAUIM (33rd on list).
2006 October: He moves to Bucharest to study architecture at "Ion Mincu" University of Architecture and Urbanism.
2007 January: Starts teaching architecture drawing at arh. Alexandru Bercan, becoming his youngest assistent.
2012 October: Follows a three months intership at DSBA and at the same time works at the "Taiwan Tower" International competition.
2013 March: Graduates with success from the "Ion Mincu" University of Architecture and Urbanism.
2013 April: Moves to Phoenix for 6 months and visits California.
2013 August: Launches architecture.stelianpopa.ro, a personal portfolio.

2002-2006: "George Apostu" Highschool of Art (Architecture class / Certificate of professional competence) . Bacau
2006-2013: "Ion Mincu" University of Architecture and Urbanism - School of Architecture (Bachelor's Degree + Master of Science in Architecture Degree). Bucharest

Achievements

2011: 3rd prize for Taiwan Tower Procurement International Competition within Dorin Stefan Architecture Studio.
